Definition

Specifies whether an order is created in the pull scenario or the push scenario.

Use

SMP orders can be created in pull or push scenario based on the push table. Materials can be maintained in the push table based on whether the notification orders are created as pull (notification) or push (auto release) orders.

In the pull method, a notification order is created and the customer is informed. A positive customer response is required for product delivery.

In a push method, the new maintenance level of the product is delivered to the customer without prior notification.
