Use
The financial transaction creates business transactions from the components upstream of Funds Management (such as Financial Accounting and Materials Management). The financial transaction is of central importance in transferring data from these components to Funds Management.

Creating Commitment Items in the FM Area/Fiscal Year
When you create a commitment item within a commitment item hierarchy, the system automatically adopts the financial transaction of the higher-level commitment item.
For commitment items that are not assigned to a commitment item hierarchy, you can specify the financial transaction as you wish.
Changing the Financial Transaction
You can only change the financial transaction if no budget or actual values have been posted on the commitment item.
You can change the financial transaction only in the master record of the highest commitment item in a commitment item hierarchy. For the lower-level commitment items, the system makes the change automatically.
For commitment items that are not assigned to a commitment item hierarchy, you can specify the financial transaction as you wish.
