Specifies the minimum period required between the start of the leave being requested and the date on which it is requested.

Use

If you select this field, you can enter an advance notice period. Note that the system does not include the current day when calculating the advance notice period.

Dependencies

Example

An employee wants to request leave on Tuesday, March 15, 2005. The system calculates the advance notice period as follows:

Advance notice        Start date of leave must be on or after

1 day        Thursday, March 17, 2005

1 week        Wednesday, March 23, 2005

1 month        Saturday, April 16, 2005
