Definition

Specifies how employees are to be selected in the various Web applications and the various modes of the Leave Request.

Use

For each application mode, you must specify how employee groups are selected.
You can choose between:

  • Request Mode
    You require this mode so that employees can submit leave requests.
  • Approval Mode
    This mode requires a manager or supervisor to approve leave requests.
  • Administrator Mode
    You can use this mode to assign HR administrators or time administrators for the Leave Request application the employees they require for their work using view groups or grouping IDs.
  • Batch Mode
    In this mode, particular actions can run in the background, such as sending e-mails or posting documents.
  • Team View Mode
    In this mode, line managers or project leads can display the team calendar in Manager Self-Service.
  • Overview of Leave
    In this mode, line managers or project leads can display the leave overview in Manager Self-Service.
