Definition

Organizational unit for grouping together several cost centers.

Use

You can create as many cost center groups as you want regardless of standard hierarchy in place.

Cost cetner groups can be combined with other cost center groups and in this way created a cost center hierarchy.

A cost center group can be used, for example, to run reports for several cost centers or to process several cost centers at one time (in one transaction).
