Documentation
Definition
Controls the display of leave in the Leave Request Web application.
Use
The following fields determine the period for which leave is displayed in the Leave Request Web application (in the list of leave and the calendar):
- Relative to Current Date
Enter the number of units (such as hours, days, weeks, or months) for which you want the system to display past leave, relative to the current date.
- For a Particular Number of Periods
Enter the earliest period for which you want the system to display past leave.
- Unit of Time/Measurement
Enter the unit in which you want to enter data in the two fields above (except for periods as defined in the T549Q table).
- Period Parameters
Enter the number of periods as defined in the T549Q table for which you want to enter data in the two fields above.
The period you define using these fields always has the same length, but can move along a time axis into the future. Absences, however, always have a fixed start and end date (except for changes that are possible for a limited time only). They are only displayed in the Web application for the time within the defined period.
Dependencies
Use either the Relative to Current Date or the For a Particular Number of Periods field.
You must always specify a unit.
Example
You enter data in the above-mentioned fields to specify that leave for the past 8 weeks is to be displayed in the Web application.
- In calendar week 30, the Web application displays leave going back to and including calendar week 22.
- In calendar week 31, the Web application displays leave going back to and including calendar week 23.
