Documentation
Definition
Controls the period for which employees can retroactively request leave for the past.
Use
The following fields specify the period:
- Relative to Current Date
Enter the number of units (such as hours, days, weeks, or months) for which you want employees to be able to request leave, relative to the current date.
- For a Particular Number of Periods
Enter the earliest period for which your employees are permitted to request leave.
- Unit of Time/Measurement
Enter the unit in which you want to enter data in the two fields above (except for periods as defined in the T549Q table).
- Period Parameters
Enter the number of periods as defined in the T549Q table for which you want to enter data in the two fields above.
Dependencies
These settings apply globally for all types of leave. If you want to adjust them for individual types of leave, specify the required periods in the Specify Types of Leave and Parameters activity (T554S_WEB table).
Use either the Request Period Relative to Current Date or the Request Period for a Particular Number of Periods field.
You must always specify a unit.
Example
You enter data in the above fields to specify that your employees are permitted to submit request for leave retroactively for up to eight weeks.
- In calendar week 30, your employees can retroactively submit requests for leave going back to and including calendar week 22.
- In calendar week 31, your employees can retroactively submit requests for leave going back to and including calendar week 23.
