Definition
Dunning interest is charged on the basis of an overdue amount. If you do not want to set this amount as the base amount in the actual currency unit but rather in a multiple of it, then enter a value in this position.
Example
Dunning interest is be charged on the basis of a full 100 euro rounded amount. Euros are calculated to two decimal places. Therefore, you enter "100000" as the rounding unit and choose 'Round Down' for the dunning interest calculation.
If the amount overdue is 970,67 euro, the amount is rounded down to 900 for the dunning interest calculation.
