Milestone Data
Use
You use this data set to access the milestone data of milestones assigned to the following objects:
- Work breakdown structure elements (WBSEs)
- Activities
You can access the milestone data of these objects in the read-only mode, the edit mode, or the shared mode.
Note
The shared mode is only available if you have deactivated the default Business Add-In (BAdI) implementation BADI_IMPL_PS_SHARED_MODE. For more information, see Customizing for Project System under Handling Large Projects -> Business Add-Ins -> Make Settings for Project Editor.
With this data set, you can save data directly, or in the background, or as a draft. Note that the system does not support the triggering of milestone functions for drafts.
In this data set, you can access milestone overviews (this is available at the activity and the WBS level) and milestone details.
Dependencies
For the Milestone Data data set, you can enter date-related information only if you have selected the Dates/Relationships data set. If you have not selected this data set, the date-related information is read-only.
