Dates and Relationships
Use
You use this data set to access the dates of the following objects:
- Project definitions
- Work breakdown structure elements (WBSEs)
- Networks
- Activities
- Activity elements
You also use this data set to access the relationships of activities.
You can access the dates and relationships of these objects in the read-only mode, the edit mode, or the shared mode.
Note
The shared mode is only available if you have deactivated the default Business Add-In (BAdI) implementation BADI_IMPL_PS_SHARED_MODE
. For more information, see Customizing for Project System under Handling Large Projects -> Business Add-Ins -> Make Settings for Project Editor.
With this data set, you can save data directly, or in the background, or as a draft.
In the Dates tab, you can access individual detail screens and overview screens for the following objects:
- Work breakdown structures
- Networks
- Activities
- Activity elements
You can also access the overall date overview of all objects.
In the Relationships tab, you can access the list of relationships of a selected activity. You can navigate to the detailed screen of a selected relationship by choosing the Detail View pushbutton.
Dependencies
- If the Activity Processing data set is selected along with the Dates/Relationships data set, then the work involved in the activity is also displayed in the Dates tab. For more information, see Work Involved in the Activity.
- For the Milestone Data data set, you can enter date-related information only if you have selected the Dates/Relationships data set. If you have not selected this data set, the date-related information is read-only.
