Definition

The adjusted recovered costs for a product within a production sharing contract (PSC) are derived based on the adjusted recoverable costs and the remaining cost cap.

If the remaining cost cap exceeds the adjusted recoverable costs, the complete costs can be recovered. Otherwise only the portion up to the remaining cost cap can be recovered. The other portion is carried over to the next period.

The calculation is as follows:

Adjusted recovered costs = min { Adjusted recoverable costs, remaining cost cap }
