Definition
The recovered costs for a product within a production sharing contract (PSC) are derived based on the adjusted recovered costs.
The calculation of the portion of costs that can be recovered is based on the adjusted amount (adjusted by a rate specified in the PSC). However, for the calculation of costs that are to be carried over to the next period it is necessary to use the non-adjusted values.
The calculation is as follows:
Recovered costs = Adjusted recovered costs / Rate
