Definition
The profit (excluding excess profit) for a product within a production sharing contract (PSC) is the total profit that is left of the total production reduced by the calculated royalty and the maximum costs that may be recovered (defined by the cost cap).
The calculation is as follows:
Profit (excl. excess pr.) = Total production - Royalty - Cost cap
