Documentation
Definition
Special character for helping you enter WBS elements in the work breakdown structure.
Use
The special character enables you to enter WBS elements more quickly and easily:
- If you enter a new WBS element, the system replaces the special character with the key of the superior WBS element.
- If you enter a new WBS element on level 1, the system replaces the special character with the key of the project definition.
Examples
You have defined the special character " as an entry aid. You can insert a new WBS element below the WBS element A-123-LDZ-10 and only have to write "20.
The system supplements the key as follows: A-123-LDZ-10-20.
Dependencies
You can use any character as an entry aid. The system will always copy the identifier of the superior WBS element or project definition.
