Supplementary Documentation - PS_POSID 0020
Use
Here you enter the start and finish values for the search area in which the next free WBS number is to be determined.
Notes
Normally you enter either a start value or a finish value in the search area:
- If you enter a start value, the system determines the finish value by replacing the numbers in the start value with the digit 9.
- If you enter a finish value, the system determines the start value by replacing the numbers in the finish value with the digit 0.
For example, if you are using the coding mask A/XXX-000 and you enter the start value AENG200, the system searches from A/ENG-200 to A/ENG-999.
You can also enter the complete search area by entering a start and a finish value. In this case, the non-numeric parts must agree and both values must have the same number of characters.
Supplementary Documentation - PS_POSID 0033
