This indicator connects the timeframes for posting interest and the periods for the fiscal year variant used.

Use

You use the period control, if you do not want to calculate compound interest for every interest run, but retrospectively at the end of a defined period.

You can only use this control for the interest calculation on capital-investment projects and orders.

Examples

Interest on a capital-investment project is calculated monthly, but compound interest quarterly and retrospectively.
