Definition
Use this indicator to specify that all data is selected that belongs to the version entered, even if the object does not have a relationship to the selection criteria (such as project, WBS element, network).
It takes longer to make an object-oriented selection than a structure- oriented selection.
Dependencies
- This indicator only appears on the selection screen when your database profile allows the selection of versions.
- Please note: You must also set the indicator current data at the same time, or the object-oriented indicator has no effect.
Example
You have a project with one WBS element and a network header. The network is assigned to the WBS element. You saved the network with version "V". In the field project version you enter version "V".
You want to display the WBS element and the network together. When the system selects according to object, it starts with the WBS element and selects all version data. The network with version "V" is displayed even though the WBS element is not in version "V".
