Definition
Use this indicator to specify that only data belonging to the same version as the objects in your selection criteria are selected.
The indicator structure-oriented is set automatically. The system can select data faster according to structure than according to objects.
Dependencies
- This indicator only appears on the selection screen when when you have set the indicator in the database profile to permit the selection of version data.
- Note that the selection criteria (project, WBS element, network) must belong to the version that you have entered in the field project version. Otherwise, the system cannot find the version data and it is not displayed.
Example
You have a project with one WBS element and a network header. The network is assigned to the WBS element. You save the network under version "V". In the field project version you enter "V".
If the indicator structure-oriented is selected and you enter the WBS element, the system will not find the version. The network with version "V" will not be displayed.
The network would only be displayed if the WBS element was also part of version "V".
