Definition
Stipulates that the fields which can be totaled are aggregated for the display in the chosen hierarchy (view). The aggregated values are then still displayed in the object if the evaluation is made with a hierarchy reference - for example, by grouping characteristics.
Note
This indicator has no effect on the formation of totals and subtotals in evaluations without hierarchy reference.
Example:
Representation in the project structure view:
WBS1 10 hours
ACT10 Work center1 10 hours
ACT20 Work center1 50 hours
If you set the indicator, the representation is as follows:
WBS1 70 hours
ACT10 Work center1 10 hours
ACT20 Work center1 50 hours
Now choose the work center as the grouping characteristic. The aggregated value remains in the WBS element. The representation is as follows:
No assignment
Total: 10 hours
WBS1 70 hours
Work center 1
Total: 60 hours
ACT10 10 hours
ACT20 50 hours
