Definition
Determines, when you change the assignment of an activity from one WBS element to another, whether the activity is moved to a network that is already assigned to the new WBS element.
If you do not set the indicator, the WBS assignment is changed but the activity remains in the same network.
Example
You create an activity 10 and assign it to WBS element P-10-1. The system creates a network 100000 in the background. You then reassign the activity to WBS element P-20-1. This WBS element has its own network 200000. Activity 10 is moved to network 200000 and is given the next free activity number, if 10 is already in use.
If no network exists for WBS element P-20-1, a new network is created, if Network asst has the value 2 (for WBS element) in the project profile.
Maintain project profile
Notes
This procedure is only supported for moving activities vertically in the project planning board.
The prerequisite is that no operative networks for both networks exist (in case the WBS element to which the activity should be assigned already has a a network).
