How to rename a proxy

Reason why proxy abap name is not changeable or the object is not deletable.

The following reasons were differentiated:

  • <space>: Not used in other proxies.
    Name can be changed or proxy can be deleted.
    Note:
    There still be usages by non proxies like implementations e.g. classes or programs.
  • N: From another namespace
    Object or element is from another namespace and could not changed in thi context.
  • P: Already used in another Proxy
    Object is still in use in another proxy, - outside this context.
  • E: Part of an enhancement
    Parts of enhancements can only be changed in the enhancement itself.
