External name of the automatically generated web service definition

Use

This name is derived from the name of the message interface. The name is changeable as long the service interface is not saved. After saving the name becomes read only.

To change the external name of the web service definition after saving, the service interface has to be deleted and recreated.

Before deleting, remember the ABAP name of the service interface and the name of the implementing class.

When deleting, delete only the root object (service interface with out referred objects).

When recreating the service interface reuse the ABAP name for service interface and implementing class.

Rename the web service external name as desired before saving.
