Untyped mapping of XML and ABAP
Use
If you choose this option, the XML data for this type is mapped "untyped" to the abap data. Instead of mapping the XML data to a dedicated abap type the XML data is mapped to the abap type XSDANY. This way the raw XML data can and has to be handled by the application using the proxy. See also Handling raw XML data.
The option is only shown for a data type if it is set for that type or if the option Expert View is enabled.
