Use

If you set this indicator, you receive a detailed payroll log after payroll has been run. This is useful if you simulate payroll for individual employees and want to look at the exact calculations that have been carried out.

If you perform payroll for a large number of employees as a background job, you should not have the log created because the dataset would be too large.
