Definition
This field is used to record the planned circulation for an ad pre-print/ad insert in a carrier route.
(If you specify planned circulation of ad pre-prints for a geographical unit, this is not used in operative processing in the M/SD ad pre-print order or the M/AM ad insert order.)
Notes on maintaining planned circulation:
Planned circulation can only be maintained in the carrier route.
Planned circulation is calculated as a total of the planned circulation in the carrier routes for an insert or ad pre-print zone that is not created as a carrier route but to which carrier routes are assigned at a lower level.
This planning data (for the carrier route) is used in operations in the M/SD ad pre-print order or the M/AM ad insert order depending on the Customizing settings:
- Customizing setting: M/SD ad pre-print order for inserts is active:
This planning value is used in the M/SD ad pre-print order for inserts as the basis for calculating a default value for the delta coverage quantity (delta coverage quantity = planned circulation of ad pre-prints - delivery quantity). This default value calculated can be changed in the ad pre-print order and is used in M/SD shipping as the delta coverage quantity. - Customizing setting: M/SD ad pre-print order for distribution is active:
The planning value is used as the default quantity for distribution in the M/SD ad pre-print order (for distribution) and can be changed there. This quantity is used as the distribution quantity in M/SD shipping. - Customizing setting: M/AM ad insert order for inserts is active:
The planning value is used in M/SD shipping as the basis for calculating the delta coverage quantity (delta coverage quantity = planned circulation of ad pre-prints - delivery quantity). This quantity is used as the delta coverage quantity in M/SD shipping. - Customizing setting: M/AM ad insert order for distribution is active:
The planning value is used as the distribution quantity in M/SD shipping.
