Definition

The primary and secondary processing keys enable you to restrict the document volume and value-added tax (VAT) types in the report selection.

Use

If you:

  • Do not specify a primary or secondary processing key, the output list displays all documents according to the other selection criteria.
  • Specify a primary processing key only, then the output list only displays documents that contain at least one line with this processing key.
  • Specify a secondary key only, then the output list displays only those lines of documents that belong to tax codes having this secondary processing key.
  • Specify a primary and a secondary processing key, the primary key receives higher priority for each document, meaning:
    • Documents containing the primary processing key are displayed completely.
    • For documents containing the secondary - but not the primary - processing key, only the tax code with the secondary processing key is displayed.
