Definition

This field specifies when the spool request will be sent to the output device.

The request is first buffered in the SAP spool system before it is sent to the output device.

The following possibilities exist for the time at which output will occur:

• First only the SAP spool
  The spool request is not sent automatically. You can look at the data by choosing System -> Own Spool Requests (transaction SP02) and start the output there if desired.
• Print immediately
  The spool request is sent to the output device immediately. However, this is not possible with front-end printers in the background.
• Date and time
  The request is sent at a later time. However, this option is not available for front-end printers.
