Definition
The price basis enables you to process order items differently in pricing. The price either refers to a period or to individual units.
In settlement of single units, the individual price is multiplied by the number of publication dates in the settlement period.
Use
When pricing is performed according to the individual price, the assignment of the sales order schedule line to the delivery must also be maintained in order processing.
Example
A period is usually calculated for subscriptions.
For retail, single units are calculated.
