Use
Partner determination is performed for partner dependent actions. The partner function entered is compared to the function of the document partner and an action is only generated if the partner functions agree.
Example:
The partner function AG (sold-to party) is entered in the action definition, the document partners are AG 00054332 and LI 000123123. The functions (sold-to party) agree, so an action is generated for the document partner AG 00054332 (for example, an e-mail is sent).
Dependencies
The partner function entered is only used for partner determination if you have selected the partner dependent action definition in Customizing.
