Documentation
Definition
Optimization rule for evaluating start conditions.
Use
Start conditions are periodically evaluated by way of a job that is regularly scheduled. When using date rules in the start conditions, it may happen that an action only becomes relevant at a much later time (for example, at the end of the quarter, or 2 weeks before the contract end date). In such cases, the periodical processing job would evaluate the start condition daily, for no reason. By using the optimization rule, a date rule used in the start condition can be used for optimization.
Dependencies
Example
The date rule 'end of quarter' is entered. In this case, the end of quarter is calculated and the start condition of the action is not evaluated again until the date arrives.
