Definition

Specifies the maximum interoperation time.

The interoperation time consists of the following times:

Use

The predefined time is the maximum amount of time that can pass before the next activity begins.

Dependencies

If you work with repetitive manufacturing, takt-based scheduling is done in APO, where the interoperation time is not taken into account.

The interoperation time is only relevant for planning for lead time scheduling within shop floor production. If not all the activities from a process structure are selected due to the configuration, it can lead to scheduling problems in configurable routings.
