Documentation
Definition
Specifies the maximum interoperation time.
The interoperation time includes the following work elements:
- Move times from one activity to the next
- Wait times after the activity is executed
- Buffer times of the activity, such as the queue time
- Float before production and safety time for orders.
Use
The specified time must have expired before the next activity can begin.
Dependencies
If you are working with repetitive manufacturing, takt-based scheduling is executed in APO. The interoperation time is not considered.
The interoperation time is only planning-relevant for lead time scheduling. For configurable routing, scheduling problems can occur if not all activities of a process structure are selected due to the configuration.
