Definition
The average interoption time between two activities includes the average
- move times,
- queue times and
- wait times, such as cooling or drying times that must be observed after processing.
Use
The average interoperation time is used only for shop floor manufacturing and only for infinite scheduling in the APO. It is used to calculate realistic lead times for individual orders.
