Definition
Gives the priority with which a production line, for which there are one or more alternatives, is to be used in the model mix planning.
Use
You can use letters or numbers to set priorities. For example, you give production line 1 priority A, and the alternative line 2 priority B. Production line 1 will take priority over the alternative line 2. In the model mix planning, sales orders will be planned on line 1 where possible irrespective of the planning algorithm.
The genetic algorithm for multi-line planning also supports the priorities.
