Definition
Overrides the settings for the synchronization of activities, which can be set in the master data from multi-activity- ormulti-mixed-resources under the planning parameter in the APO-system.
Use
If the setting Use of the synchronization response of the resource is used in the DI system for an activity, the synchronization response of the APO resource will be transferred.
If the setting Control over the synchronization response of the resource is used, the activity is not allowed to overlap with activities which have already been synchronized.
The start date for the activities is synchronized with the same duration and characteristics, when they overlap.
As the synchronization occurs, the system plans a newly scheduled activity dependent upon the capacity and the planning direction. This is either on the same start date of an activity which has already been planned with the same duration and characteristics, or without overlap either before or after it. With synchronization it is therefore possible to create using multi-resource-blocks with activities, which can be processed at the same time as the duration and characteristics are the identical. The value of the characteristic is determined by the synchronization characteristic.
