Definition

When this indicator is set, the characteristic value assignments made for the access object for a multi-level structure are considered and evaluated on the first level only of the tree. The value assignments for lower levels are determined from the variant. If there are no value assignments for the variant, the configuration of the material is used. Should there be no configuration either, no configuration is evaluated.

When this indicator is not set, the configuration from the characteristic value assignments for the access object is used on all the lower levels.
