Definition

Specifies the subtype of an iPPE relationship.

Use

There are two line-specific relationship types in the standard system. A subtype is offered for each of these relationship types:

• Is-part-of relationship, for parts of line networks (representation of hierarchic relationships)

  This relationship subtype allows you to maintain relationships between a part of line network and production lines or a buffer.

• Assignment relationship, for the line assignment function

  This relationship subtype allows you to assign activities to line segments or to a production line, without having to create a line balance.
