Definition

This indicator determines that you can process extracted data in the engineering workbench (EWB) before conversion.

Use

The engineering workbench is a user-friendly tool with which you can process product and process data (BOMs and routings) before conversion, either with reference to a change number or on a specific date.

Note:
In certain situations, it is not possible to process the extracted data in change mode. This is the case, for example, if the data is locked by a user or the selected validity period does not allow changes.

Dependencies

You can also check the extracted data again before processing in the engineering workbench, in a result preview:

• Start transaction Define iPPE Extraction again.
• Choose Settings for Extraction and Conversion.
• Set the Display Result Preview indicator.
