Definition

This indicator determines that a result preview is displayed before converting the iPPE model to a material BOM.

Use

The result preview simulates the conversion result. The preview is especially useful if you are converting a model for the first time.
You see a clear overview of conversion information, such as:

  • Created and changed assemblies
  • Created and changed material components
  • Conversion status (for example, errors)
  • Conversion log for objects containing errors (for example, locked objects)

Dependencies

You can process the extracted data that is presented in the result preview as follows:

  • Change

    You can change the extracted data in both the result preview and the engineering workbench.

  • Save

    The data in the result preview is presented temporarily. If you want to save the BOM data to the database, choose Save.
