Definition
Determines the application for which an iPPE object is defined. It also determines which attributes and attribute values an object can have in iPPE.
Use
The following objects can be assigned to an application object type:
- Nodes
- Variants
- Alternatives
The object is allocated a specific function in iPPE once it has been assigned to an application object type.
Example
If you assign a node type to the application object type CMP, then that node type will represent a BOM component.
