Documentation
Definition
Each backflush consists of three subprocesses:
- Timely ("synchronous") posting of material movements
- Deferred, aggregated ("asynchronous") posting of material movements
- Deferred, aggregated ("asynchronous") posting of production activities
You trigger the asynchronous processes using the function Processing the Backflushes . The production activities are posted in aggregated form here. The system always posts production activities asynchronously.
The indicator has three characteristic values:
- blank: the production activities must still be posted
- V: the backflush contains no material movements to be posted asynchronously
- X: material movements posted
The indicator for asynchronous posting of activities is set only when the activities have been posted. The worklist for the function Processing the Backflushes consists of the backflushes still to be posted. If the indicator is not set after the run, you can see where the error occurred in the
Application Log (object PPCONF). Check whether the corresponding backflush matches with the selection criteria from PPCGO.
