Definition

Indicator for controlling the posting of reclassifications, in which the sign of the net balance determines which financial statement item is posted.

Depending which sign the balance has, either the value of the From item or the To item is cleared. Setting the flag for a positive balance results in a reversal of any negative balances.

For example:

The setting which clears the From item if the balance is positive, also clears the To item if the balance is negative.

The same logic applies to transaction types as well as FS items.
