Definition
A key for a summarization category for open items.
Entering the key for a summarization category decides which open items that have been created from a payment plan item are combined by the system in a single item. Those items that match according to defined values (for example, business partner, due date) are combined. By using the summarization category the criteria are defined, according to which items that have matching values are combined in one item.
Example
If a summarization category that is characterized by a combination of the due date, business partner, contract and currency criteria is assigned to a payment plan, then those items that have the same due date, belong to one and the same business partner and contract and have the same currency, will be combined. The new total document receives the attributes of the outgoing document that has the greatest share in the total document in terms of amounts.
