Definition
Key for a grouping category for open items.
Entering a key for a grouping category decides which open items that have been created from a payment plan item are to be grouped by the system in one document with different line items. The system groups those items that match according to certain values (for example, business partner, due date). Using the grouping category, the criteria whose items refer to matching values are defined so that they can be grouped in one document with multiple line items.
Example
If a grouping category that is characterized by a combination of the due date, business partner, contract and currency criteria is assigned to a payment plan, those items that refer to the same due date, the same business partner and contract and that have the same currency are grouped together.
