Definition

Sort options of the logical database PNP.

Lists the fields which can be used to sort the logical database.

Employees are generally selected by personnel number. If you specify a sort option, employees are not selected according to their personnel number, but according to the fields defined in the sort sequence instead.

You can define a maximum of seven sort criteria which must be specified in the following order:

• The personnel area in front of the personnel subarea,
• The administrator group in front of the administrator,
• The employee group in front of the employee subgroup and
• The controlling area in front of the cost center.

Example:

If you define the sort criteria:
personnel area / payroll administrator / sort name,
the evaluation is sorted in ascending order according to personnel area, payroll administator and employee names.

Note:

Use this sort option only if the report does not have a sort option of its own.
