Procedure

Enter the search term for the matchcode according to the layout rule.
You can display the layout rule for the matchcode search term by selecting "Possible entries" on the initial HR master data maintenance screen and choosing the required matchcode.

Note

In the case of time-dependent matchcodes, a matchcode record is selected only if its validity period overlaps the employee selection period by at least one day.

Examples

• You have chosen N as the matchcode ID for the name.
  If you enter H in this field, the system displays all employees whose names begin with H.
• You have chosen K as the matchcode ID for the personnel area and cost center assignment.
  If you enter 0001.00004711, the system displays all employees who belong to personnel area 0001 and cost center 4711.
