Definition
When you enter a person selection period, the system selects only those employees who are members of the enterprise on at least one day in the specified period. These are persons with a valid Organizational Assignment (0001) record. Entries in the standard selection options fields limit the personnel numbers that are selected. You can specify an interval by entering the start and end dates in the left and right columns respectively.
Procedure
The following reporting options are available:
- The entire period
If you make no entries, the system sets the lowest and highest system date as the start and end dates. - Partial periods
You can specify an interval by making an entry in the left and right columns. If you enter only the highest date, the system automatically sets the lowest date.
Example
- You have selected the 'Other period' radio button and made an entry only in the Person selection period field.
Your evaluation should include all employees who have a valid Organizational Assignment (0001) record on at least one day from January to March 1995.
Enter 01011995 as the Start date and 31031995 as the End date. - Make entries in one or more of the Organizational Assignment (0001) infotype fields.
Your evaluation should include all employees who were assigned to personnel area "0001" on at least one day between January and March 1995.
Also make an entry the Personnel area field.

Procedure
Use one of the following evaluation options:
- Entire period
If you do not make any entries, the earliest and latest system dates are automatically used as the start and end dates respectively. - Partial periods
You can define the interval limits by making an entry in the left and right columns. If you only enter the upper limit in the right column, the earliest system date is automatically used as the lower limit. - Key date
You can select records that are valid on a key date if you only enter a date in the left column.
