Documentation
Definition
The data selection period enables you to specify the period in which employee data records are read. Only records which overlap with the specified period by at least one day are selected. To define an interval, enter the start date in the left column and the end date in the right column.
Procedure
The following reporting options are available:
- For the entire period
If you do not make an entry, the lowest system date is automatically used as the start date, and the highest system date as the end date. - For partial periods
You can specify the interval by making an entry in the left and right columns. If you only enter the upper limit in the right column, the lowest system date is automatically used as the lower limit. - On a key date
If you only enter a date in the left column, records which are valid on the key date are displayed.
Example
You want to create a list of absences for January 1995.
Enter 01011995 as the start date and 31011995 as the end date in the data selection period field.
