Definition

For the paying company code, it has been specified that direct debit pre-notifications (SEPA) can be created.

If the Direct Debit Pre-Notification indicator is set for the payment method, this means that for all direct debits, the system does create appropriate direct debit pre-notifications before the amount is debited. If you do not want the system to create a direct debit pre-notification for individual items, then you can use one of the following approaches:

  • The caller set the "Pre-Notification Not Necessary" indicator when the document was posted.
  • The "Pre-Notification Not Necessary" indicator was set using event 0061 when the document was posted.
  • The "Pre-Notification Not Necessary" indicator was set by means of a document change.

If the Direct Debit Pre-Notification indicator is not selected, this means that the payment run executes direct debits without any previous notification. If you nonetheless do want the system to create a direct debit pre-notification for individual items, then you can use one of the following approaches:

  • The caller set the "Pre-Notification Necessary" indicator when the document was posted.
  • The "Pre-Notification Necessary" indicator was set using event 0061.
  • The "Pre-Notification Necessary" indicator was set by means of a document change.

Using the document change, it is only possible to set the indicators "Pre-Notification Necessary" and "Pre-Notification Not Necessary" (that can be set manually).
