Definition
Enables you to specify the vacation days the global employee is entitled to during the current year. The balance, which has to be entered manually and is not retrieved from infotype Absence quotas (2006) to allow company-specific vacation policies, is then transferred to infotype Planned Working Time (0007) in the host country upon activation.
Example
Suppose an employee working in Germany (where the absence quota equals 30) is sent to the US (where the absence quota equals 15). In this case, the company may apply the best-of-the-two principle and grant 30 days to compensate the lower number of vacation days in the US.
